Making A Purchase   

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online shop and add any items that you wish to purchase to your shopping basket.

When you have finished shopping, proceed to the checkout. Once you have entered your address and delivery details you can select the appropriate delivery option and proceed to the payment stage. We accept payment with most major credit and debit cards. We also accept payment for website orders through Stripe.

Card payments through our website are processed by Stripe/Paypal, one of the leading payment providers in the UK. Your payment and card details are sent via an SSL encrypted link, ensuring your privacy and security is protected to industry standards. Your card details are not stored by our website at any point in the transaction and our staff have no access to your card details.

Shipping And Handling

All our garments are handmade to order. Because of this the lead time on delivery is within 4 weeks of ordering.

Shipping rates are calculated at the checkout section of website. Please check shipping rates before making a purchase.

Please note that no claim can be made if the goods are damaged if they were signed for as okay. If the box is damaged or you are in doubt please sign and state they are “unchecked”

All first time orders must go to the home address of the customer. Established customers can nominate an alternative delivery address, subject to agreement with the The Ootsider. United Kingdom orders will be sent via Parcel force or our contracted courier company.


All our garments are fully guaranteed to the original purchaser against defects in components, materials and workmanship.
Please return any unwanted goods within 7 days of purchase.
It is the responsibility of the customer to bear the cost of return shipping. The returned item is the customers responsibility until it reaches us. We do not hold responsibility for any packaged that is damaged or lost during return shipping. Please make sure the package is insured to the full value.
All items should be returned new and unused, with the tags intact and in their original condition. Unfortunately returns that are damaged, soiled or altered in any way may not be accepted.  A restocking fee of 25% of the purchased price may be charged.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 256 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. The check out pages are stored on a secure https server.
